The pharmaceutical and food processing industries rely on juice, pulp and essential oil extraction from various plants. Traditionally, these industries have used numerous machines, each of which completed part of the plant extraction process such as pulverizing, mixing, steaming, pressure-cooking, and juice / oil / gel extracting.

A new Multi-Purpose Processing Machine has been invented by Dharmveer Kamboj, Haryana, India to combine all of the above processes and through its condensation mechanism, it yields the juice / oil / gel extracts without crushing seeds. This is a crucial factor as crushing the plants’ seeds eliminates the output products’ taste and toxic elements. The machine also enables boiling that is facilitated with temperature regulation and auto cut-off feature

The machine is available in two models; the first model has juice extraction capacity of 50 Kg/hr while the second model has capacity of 150 Kg/hr.

The machine has been designed to be user friendly and can be operated by any person with minimal training. Further, it is portable and can be easily transported to the location of raw material, in this case the farmlands.

The global sales figures to date have been 100 units with majority orders coming from Indian states. The Multi-Purpose Processing Machine has received investment from National Innovation Foundation, Government of India through its Micro Venture Innovation Fund initiative

Imagine a technology that represent G2G (Grassroots to Global) model having potential to create thousands of jobs and a few hundred local/regional brands in food processing industry.
